Automobile Spring Cleaning
Spring is here and it is time for something everyone loves to do; spring cleaning! If you are one of the 240 million cars that will be taking the roads this spring, it is time you take your home spring cleaning to your vehicle. We spend enough time in our vehicles and depend on them enough to know how to treat them right. Here’s what you can do to spring clean your vehicle to prepare your car for the weather changes.
- When temperatures change, your tire pressure changes. If you want your car to drive safe, then you need the proper amount of pressure in your tires. Having the right amount of pressure will also keep your gas bills lower. The right pressure for your tires is usually printed on the door of your car or in the glove box.
- Get your air filter replaced. It will help your fuel costs as well and will increase the life span of your car.
- If you have winter tires on your car, replace them with all-season tires. Get your tires inspected to see if they are still in good shape.
- When it comes time to purchasing new tires, really research which ones will be the best for your driving style. Get the best tires you can afford.
- Don’t forget to flush out, change, and fill up on any fluids. Everything should be clean and at the right level.
Now you are all set on your spring cleaning!
