Car Maintenance: What to do, and What not to do!

If you maintain your vehicle regularly you can keep your car running well and the occupants safe. So here is what you should and shouldn’t do when maintaining your automobile.

  • Check your tire pressure twice a month or at least once a month. Check and see how the tire treads have worn and if there are any foreign objects in the tire or cracking.
  • Bring your car in for regular tune-ups. Check your manufacturer for how often you should take it in.
  • Don’t blow off the importance of regular maintenance on your car. When you wish to sell it, you can get a lot more money if you take care of it.
  • You shouldn’t ignore getting your car washed and waxed. You can help prevent rust this way.
  • When your engine light appears, don’t brush it off. It’s better to solve the problem while it is smaller than have it blow up in your face.
  • When it is time to service your automobile, take it to your dealership, and make sure only original parts are used if something needs to be replaced.
